Pony runs restarted!

We started doing some Pony runs again to try and get Jae the Pony before Wrath hits.

After two nights of running through there we cleared the place at least 10 or so times, but still no Pony.

There was a glimmer of hope right off the bat though when a shiny purple dropped off the Baron, but it was only his Runeblade. Agravane won the roll off against Lorrick.

Interestingly enough, per Wowhead, this sword has a 0.1% droprate (9 drops out of 7,057 kills), An almost negligible difference from the Pony (3 drops out of 7,057 kills). But it still took the place of the Pony, and Jae was sad.

We're going back in again tonight!

Three more speed runs

Three more runs down, nothing especially cool dropped this time around. Not even Mage pants.

We've also started a "Baron! Drop your Pony!" shout just before we loot the bastard.

It hasn't worked yet.

And so the runs begin...

Our first runs through were last night. Two full runs in 40 minutes is not bad.

Next we work on 3 runs in 45 minutes culminating in hopefully 5 full runs in an hour. It can be done and done efficiently.

I've created this blog with the sole purpose of documenting the trials and tribulations...and bad luck...required to obtain Baron Rivendare's Deathcharger Reins in World of Warcraft.

My friend, Jae (Batrice), really wants a Pony...and gosh darnit, we'll get it for her.
